A little about my background and capabilities.
I am a Project Management Professional with extensive experience working for Fortune 200 companies. I have consistently proven my abilities in the execution of project and program management, processes, standards, governance, and metrics. After many years away from the consulting arena (I founded and ran a successful Consulting Practice in the DFW area for 7+ years), I am once again returning to the ranks, but with a different approach and focus. First and foremost, I provide both Strategic and Tactical Project Management Consulting to the Information Technology service area. My background includes working in Transportation, Communications, Banking, IT Services, Software & Program Development, IT Infrastructure Build Out, Transformation of IT Services. All while keeping in mind that the successful implementation of an IT Solution, is not complete unless it satisfies the needs and objectives of the ‘Business Sponsor and Partners’.
In addition, I have had the opportunity to work closely with my primary peer group – Project and Program Managers on theories, practices, processes of Project Management. This has led me to develop a management style and approach that is best described as a ‘Practical Approach to the Execution of Project Management’. In that light, I offer mentoring and training services to those that want to become Project Managers; those that want to improve their skills; and most importantly – how to deliver and work with C-Level Sponsors and Stakeholders successfully.
